    What are the file formats supported by ElePhab for 3D printing?

      

    For best results in your 3D printing, we suggest uploading in .STL or .OBJ format. 


    But we accept many more file types. You can upload a 3D file in any of the following formats:


    • CATPART
    • CATPRODUCT
    • CGR (CATIA)
    • DXF (AutoCAD)
    • DWG
    • IAM / .IPT (Autodesk Inventor) 
    • SLDPRT
    • SLDASM (SolidWorks). 

    What size of parts can you print?

     Our print envelope can successfully fit an object with maximum dimensions of 12.5 X 12.5 X 20 inches. 

    What materials do you offer?

      

    3D printing offers an increasing range of materials. Within the plastic spectrum, ElePhab Co operates using all extrudable plastics.  

    Who owns the intellectual property rights of my design once I send it for printing?

      

    Your designs intellectual property remains yours forever. 


    ElePhab maintains a non-disclosure of our client’s intellectual property.


    If you choose to keep your file private: the file will never be used by us in any way other than to manufacture your product for you and no picture of the printed object will be divulged.

     

    However if our clients choose to make their designs public they give us a non-exclusive licence to their file for promotional purpose. 

    How are prices calculated?

      

    Calculation of prices are dependent on certain criteria, such as (but not limited to):


    The total quantity of material used during the manufacturing process (supports, offcuts).


    Overall machine time for the manufacturing of a unit product.


    The choice of material and finish chosen.


    The quantity of the product manufactured

       

    What happens after I place an order?

     All orders are responded to in less than 24 hours. Typically, order review, a quote stating the price breakdown and delivery date are provided. We also offer fast track services on emergency orders that may attract extra costs.
